Hi students and teachers!, this week's movie is A United Kingdom, and it is the true story of a white-black couple whose union is opposed not just by their respective families but, lo and behold, by three nations no less. Set in post-war Britain and apartheid - shaping busy South Africa's neighboring modern Botswana, we'll watch the three of them set conspiracies and plots to pull the couple apart, while giving away prejudice, bigotry and of course greed for uranium and diamonds that an interracial marriage would deny access to. We'll also see these love-birds relentlessly wade through political expediency, and unflinchingly walk the path of their romance - so much for the State rationale. Do join us! Movie starts at 09:00 p.m. and ticket's only 4 euros for Capriotti's folks
