After serving two years’ hard labour in prison for “gross public indecency,” Wilde moves to Paris, where his former crush  Alfred “Bosie” Douglas  comes back into his life. The worldwide sought-after witty and charming writer, now scorned and destitute, will give in to his craving  for love and acceptance, though fully aware of  the price it will come at.

“Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future”, happy prince Wilde wrote. And it was indeed  the dreamy  world of his own fairy tales  that he will hold on to till the end to retain his dignity,  and  hope for final unity and peace.
