British Army soldiers Schofield and Blake have the marching orders to hand Colonel Mackenzie a message warning him to cancel a war operation that would drive 1600 of his men into the clutches of a German ambush and turn them into lambs to the slaughter. What looks like a suicide mission will draw the two buddies and comrades in arms into a race against time, having them cut across the Hindenburg Line amid deafening bombs, freaking snipers and fellows half-buried in muddy trenches. The movie speaks of the horror of the Great War and of the horror of all wars, which men fight over and over again, trapped in an endless cycle that cries out victim and survivor counts rather than announce winners and defeated. Do come along!, movie’s out this coming Wednesday at 08:00 p.m. and ticket’s only 4 euros for Capriotti school.
