Hello everyone, here we are again with the true story of an Afro-American Harvard graduate lawyer who rather than pursue a brilliant career up north chooses the deep south to pro-bono defend death-row prisoners like Walter McMillian, wrongfully sentenced for the murder of an eighteen-year-old white girl.
Just Mercy points its finger at racism and poverty in a country where throwing black suspects in jail on the grounds that "you just need to look them in the face" means wiping out decade-long fights for civil rights. And where education and justice system seem to have failed here's art giving a hand-up! Movie is on this coming Wednesday and tickets are only 4 Euros for Capriotti school.
